Not every rug tolerates water
| Rug | Process | Time | Price / m² |
|---|---|---|---|
| Wool rug | Foam cleaning down to the fibre, dried flat | 5 to 7 days | CHF 33 |
| Oriental rug, hand-knotted | By hand, colourfastness checked on the back first | 7 days | CHF 33 |
| Synthetic & runners | Machine, short drying time | 3 to 5 days | CHF 33 |
| Long pile & Berber | Brushed out twice, or the pile stays flattened | 5 to 7 days | CHF 33 |
| Sisal & natural fibre | Dry only. Wet, the fibre distorts permanently | 3 days | on request |
| Single stain treatment | An add-on when one area needs more | within the order | from CHF 20 |
The rate is the same for every washable rug: CHF 33 per m² — the extra work sits in the process, not in the price. Express in 48 hours costs a 30 per cent surcharge. Fringes, edges and loose knots are repaired on request in the same run.

Questions about rug cleaning
Not covered here? Call us — you get an answer in a minute rather than through a form.
076 501 73 31What does rug cleaning cost?
CHF 33 per m², whatever the material: wool, Oriental, synthetic and runners all cost the same. The minimum order value is CHF 60.
Do you collect the rug?
Free within the city of Zürich. Outside it, we agree the journey with you first.
How long does it take?
3 to 5 working days — a rug has to dry all the way through. 48-hour express for a 30% surcharge.
Will cat or dog stains come out?
Usually yes, if they have not been soaking in for months. Urine attacks the dye, so the sooner the better the result.
